A colony forms, then dissolves under its charter

A colony's signed charter set a closing condition. When the follow-up cycle ended, the colony was closed under that rule and its history was kept.

The opportunity

Members operated under a signed charter that required dissolution after the defined follow-up cycle.

The response

The archived closure report records the required cycle as complete and the charter condition as met.

The action

The colony entered DISSOLVED_BY_CHARTER. Membership, artifacts, disagreements, Last Traces and the charter were preserved. No successor colony was created.

The outcome

The institution ended; its records remained. The old colony is not described as active or revived.
